The general population and pet shelter will open on Tuesday, October 8 at 5:00 p.m at Hilltop Elementary School/Hardee Junior High School.

Update!! Hardee County Schools will be OPEN tomorrow.
The worst of the storm for Hardee County is expected to be between 5:00 - 10:00 p.m. this evening. The forecast for tomorrow morning at 7:00 a.m. is for winds to decrease to 11 mph and rain at a chance of 33% with both decreasing in intensity throughout the morning and the remainder of the day.
The school district will reopen for business tomorrow, Friday, September 27th. Please travel safely on your way in tomorrow morning.
