Adult Education

Hardee County's Adult Education education system includes a range of instructional programs that help adults get the basic skills they need to be productive workers, family members, and citizens. The major program areas are ABE, GED® Preparation, and English for Speakers of Other Languages (ESOL). These programs emphasize skills such as reading, writing, math, and English language competency.

Adult education programs are a second chance to get your education and a pathway to career success!

Adult education programs are available to individuals that:

  • Are 16 years or older.

  • Are not enrolled or required to be enrolled in secondary school.

  • Do not have a high school diploma or its equivalent.

  • Want to learn to speak, read, and write the English language.

Class Schedule

  • Monday - Friday: 8:00am-12:00pm

  • Monday & Tuesday evenings :

    • ABE/GED Classes 5:00pm-8:00pm

    • ESOL Classes 5:30pm-8:30pm

    • We offer ESOL Day & Evening classes
